About Ad 2 Milwaukee
Ad 2 Milwaukee is a non-profit organization run by young professionals, ages 32 and younger, involved or interested in advertising and related fields. Ad 2 Milwaukee aims to help students and young professionals gain industry experience, grow their professional networks, and become community leaders.
Ad 2 was founded in 1947 and has since established 20+ local Ad 2 chapters across the United States. The Milwaukee chapter of Ad 2 (i.e. Ad 2 Milwaukee) was formed in 2006 with the help of a local agency, Boelter + Lincoln. Since 2006, Ad 2 Milwaukee has continued to develop networking, professional development and educational opportunities for our members.
The American Advertising Federation (AAF) is the the country’s largest advertising advocacy group. Within AAF is a young professionals division called Ad 2. As a young professionals chapter of the AAF, Ad 2 Milwaukee works closely with the Ad 2 National, AAF National and AAF District 8 groups, effectively having connections across the United States. In addition, all members of Ad 2 Milwaukee are affiliated with the national organizations and thus receive the related benefits.
